Drawings on Paper and Collages
About the project
From painting on canvas and the many moves to temporary studios, my attention shifted to ‘more volatile’ work. Nowadays I mainly work on paper and I use collage techniques.
I mainly respond to existing images: newspapers, work with text, old postcards from my childhood, photos and collected material from the road. Adding new layers creates new meanings. This work is a sequel to the Beauty case series and a run-up to new work to be developed.
